WARCRAFT FOREVERCOMMUNITY DATABASE
FOREVER BETA / A PLAYER-BUILT JOURNAL

A world to discover.
A database to build together.

Every adventure adds something. Explore the loot, NPCs, quests, and places reported by fellow players—and bring back a few discoveries of your own.

A public journal of player observations. Early beta data is unverified. Every record keeps its event and client build.

01

Install the addon

Extract the download and put WoWFDB inside your Forever client’s Interface/AddOns folder. Enable it on character selection.

02

Follow your curiosity

Target NPCs, open loot windows, accept or finish quests, and explore. Check /wfdb status or pause with /wfdb pause.

03

Share what you found

Close WoW and upload WTF/Account/<account>/SavedVariables/WoWFDB.lua, or paste /wfdb export. The companion can do the upload for you.

The collector stops at 5,000 observations. After confirming your upload, use /wfdb reset confirm in game to make room. The website and companion never erase your saved addon data.

Your discoveries, with context.

We collect game observations: loot, NPCs, quests, locations, timestamps, and the client build. The addon does not collect character names, account details, or chat. A random installation identifier helps us skip repeated records.

Contributing uses an anonymous browser cookie and Cloudflare bot protection. No account is required. Only validated observation fields appear in the public journal; raw exports stay private. Existing private Fieldnotes journals are not migrated here.

A field journal, still growing.

Player reports are unverified and may be incomplete or inaccurate. A loot window is not a drop rate. Coordinates record the observer’s position, which may differ from an NPC’s spawn point.

This is an experimental collector for Forever 1.60.x. Restricted game values are skipped. Keep your original exports while the addon and database are being tested.
